The AP Macroeconomics Exam is approximately 2 hour and 10 minutes long. It consists of a 70-minute multiple choice section and a 60-minute free response section. The multiple choice section is worth two-thirds and the free response section is worth one-third of the final exam grade.
The multiple choice section contains 60 questions.
The free response section contains 1 long essay and 2 short essay questions. It also includes a 10-minute reading period.
