AP teachers have a passion for what they teach. They are your bridge between the world of high school and the world of college. They take pride in teaching rigorous courses, with special training and tools to help students achieve success with advanced academics. When you get to college, you'll be in complete control of your learning and studying. AP teachers will help you manage challenging work alongside your other priorities while still in high school, so you'll be ready when you're on your own. They know you might be stressed or even feel unprepared for the challenges that lie ahead, and often go out of their way to provide the support to help you succeed. Because AP teachers know that even though AP classes offer great challenges, the experiences of learning together and getting support can create unique bonds, lessons, and skills that last long after the last class is over.

“My AP teachers have definitely changed my life. They don't just help me with school, they help me with life. They really try to focus on every student.”
— Kara, AP Student

“I would never have even thought about going into the engineering field if it wasn't for these AP classes, these AP teachers, and them helping me realize that this is a major calling in my life.”
— Thomas, AP Student

“I expect a lot from my students. I expect them to work hard. Because that is the expectation that the world has for them. And I love that about the program. Students are able to achieve things that they didn't even know they could do.”
— Mrs. Gopie, AP Bio Teacher
